Forgettable Design Is Good Design

I aim for 90% of my designs to be powered by my design system of reusable components. It should be good, but it shouldn't be anything special.

The last 10% is what will be custom-made and provide those wow moments.

But if my 90% isn't good, they'll leave and completely forget that special 10%, only remembering the shitty 90%.

I aim to make most of my design good but forgettable, so that what isn't forgettable has its opportunity to shine.
